The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) in Vanaramutti was established in the educational year 1992-93. Its sole purpose is to conduct various training programs to enhance the quality of basic education and create a favorable environment within the district for enrolling more and more school-going children. Additionally, DIET aims to ensure the retention of enrolled students and achieve a high literacy rate for both males and females.
